About Lauren
Lauren Tolbert (c/o 2026) is a student-athlete at Duke University, majoring in Biology with a Minor in Global Health. Lauren’s journey in track began at an early age when she joined the Girls on the Run program, where she acquired a passion, confidence, and love for running. Over many years of discipline and training, she has developed a niche for long sprint events (400m / 800m), which earned her national recognition.

During her first two years at Duke University, Lauren was a two-time USTFCCCA First Team All-American and 2024 Olympic Trials Qualifier (800m). Her conference accolades include ACC Champion (400m, 4x400, DMR) and part of the relay team that ran the fastest 4x400m relay in ACC history. She holds multiple school records (600m/800m) and several other top-three marks. Lauren enjoyed winning Back-to-Back ACC Championship Titles alongside her teammates.

Beyond track and field, Lauren loves fashion, nature, water sports, crocheting, and DIY hairstyling. She is focused on pursuing a professional career in healthcare, combining her passions and skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
